Serre Chevalier is the biggest ski area in the Southern French Alps and one the biggest in Europe. It has a great range of slopes for all abilities. No matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced skier, you will have fun!

A domain where you can both ski in the larch forest, typical of our region, and reach the summits for a high mountain atmosphere. Its connects 3 villages as well as Briançon, a town of more than 10,000 inhabitants. A town of that size with a direct access to the ski runs is simply unique in France!

80% of the estate's surface area is above 1,800 m

Thanks to its exceptional altitude, with 80% of the ski area located above 1,800 m, Serre Chevalier enjoys reliable snow conditions throughout the season.

This natural advantage is complemented by an extensive snowmaking network covering around one-third of the ski area, helping to ensure the best possible skiing conditions.

Both in the off-season and during winter, our teams put their expertise at your service to ensure your comfort and guarantee the best conditions for skiing, a warm welcome and the chance to explore the mountains.

During your stay, you’ll find us at the Information and Ticket Offices, at the ski lifts and throughout the ski area. Our Cols’Porteurs also invite you to take a look behind the scenes of the ski area, discover its heritage and appreciate the riches of the mountain environment.

At the summit of Serre Chevalier, perched at an altitude of 2,491 metres, adventure awaits you: marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the 360° panorama of the Écrins National Park and the surrounding peaks.
