Leaderboard for the preservation of the black grouse

Did you know? Quiet zones for the Black Grouse exist within the Serre Chevalier ski area and are marked on the piste map. These protected areas – using markers, ropes and flags – help reduce disturbance to this emblematic mountain bird during winter and aim to balance skiing activities with wildlife conservation.
Discovery and discussion sessions about the Black Grouse offer an opportunity to better understand conservation issues and good practices in alpine environments.
